London - United Nations of Sound is a new band of former vocalist of The Verve, Richard Ashcroft.

Redemption debut album, scheduled to be released in March 2010. The album was produced by hip-hop pioneer named No ID.

Ashcroft recorded the album in New York, Los Angeles, and London, with string arrangements are governed by Benjamin Wright (Aretha Franklin, Outkast).

The Verve have four studio albums. Ashcroft also has three solo albums.

Richard Paul Ashcroft born on September 11, 1971 in Billinge, Lancashire, England. He is a singer / songwriter from the UK. He is the lead singer and sometimes guitarist rock band The Verve, from starting up in 1990 to split the Verve in 1999.

After The Verve broke up, he became a solo artist. The Verve had reform in 2007, but they broke up back in the summer of 2009.
