The persistently high levels of piracy in Indonesian songs turned out to be one consideration for choosing Nokia Comes With Music service to the Indonesian market. Through this service, the new Nokia mobile phone users a certain type can free to download millions of songs free of charge from the phone or the computer."We understand the song is still very rampant pirated so it's hard for me to sell a la carte," said Haryati Lawidjaya, Software and Services Manager Nokia Indonesia during a press conference Nokia Comes With Music in Jakarta, Thursday (18/3/2010). Nokia actually has two models of content distribution of music through OVI services. Ovi Music in several countries serving in the unit sales of songs with DRM-free content (digital rights management). While the music content on Comes With Music has DRM that can only be played on Nokia phones that support and OVI Player on your computer.
The first product will be accompanied by service Comes With Music is Nokia X6 that will be officially released next March 25, 2010 in Indonesia. In this mobile phone sales package included a PIN number access for mobile users to download songs that are available. Other mobile phone will follow later. This service is not available for Nokia phones that have been released previously.
