Duff McKagan join Jane's Addiction

Duff McKagan join Jane's AddictionFormer bass player Guns 'N' Roses, Duff McKagan has reportedly replaced Eric Avery as the new bass player Jane's Addiction.

Duff McKagan will reportedly join the Perry Farrell, the guitarist Dave Navarro and drummer Stephen Perkins as the new bassist for the album to come.

McKagan is also playing with Velvet Revolver will replace Eric Avery is out on Monday, shortly after they start their last world tour in Australia.

Avery announced his departure to leave Jane's Addiction to write a message on twitter account "That's all. With great regret and relief, being with Jane's Addiction's over."

While the former Jane's Addiction personnel other has not said anything in particular. The vocalist Perry Farrell writes a message on personal twitter page "Sneaking out of the shell of the past. Gripping, wow ... we are headed for something more quickly now. And it is worth the wait. It's the Art Of Great Escape."

Eric Avery is one of the founding members of the band Jane's Addiction when he first stood in 1985, and rejoined the Jane's Addiction when they decided to come back together reunited in 2008.

Jane's Addiction is one of the movement's first alternative rock band in the 1990s that mainstream media attention and commercial success in the United States. They ranked 35th on the list of 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock version of VH1.
